Every summer Deeply Rooted presents the future of dance with the Summer Dance Intensive (SDI) final performances. These remarkable students perform classic works from Deeply Rooted Dance Theater’s repertory, as well as new pieces from this year's Emerging Choreographer, Dara Meredith. Join us in celebrating these remarkable rising stars!

SDI participants experience a rigorous curriculum fostering learning and personal growth, with a curriculum that  includes classes based in Horton, Graham, ballet, and contemporary movement. The Intensive also features The Continuum, a series of guided, remote conversations on self-awareness and personal growth informed by each student’s creativity and artistic process.

Deeply Rooted presents a culminating showcase for participants in the spring session of its Dance Education programs, including students in the Youth Ensemble, Emerging Artists Ensemble, and the Mature H.O.T. Women program for women ages 25 and older who are Health-conscious, Optimistic, and Triumphant.
