Center Stage at Ruth Page

  • The Ruth Page Center for the Arts 1016 N. Dearborn Street Chicago, IL, 60610 United States (map)

A fundraising concert to celebrate dance legend, Ruth Page, featuring dance and theater performance from our In-Resident Organizations and artists from the Chicago Dance Community.

After celebrating virtually in 2021, we are thrilled to return live to the stage for our annual birthday celebration of founder and international dance icon, Ruth Page (1899 – 1991). “Center Stage at Ruth Page” annually features the In-Resident Organizations who call The Ruth Page Center for the Arts home, and for 2022, in continued celebration of The Ruth Page Center for the Arts’ 50th anniversary, we’re expanding our program to include dance companies from the Chicago Dance Community!

Join us for both nights! Friday’s program will include performances from the artists and organizations who are in residence at the Center. Then, Saturday will feature a new program with our invited guest performers. The talented dancers from the Ruth Page Civic Ballet Training Company and advanced dancers from the Ruth Page School of Dance will join these professional companies both Friday and Saturday night.

Each night will also include a wine and dessert reception in our lobby - it is a birthday party after all!
