Men Moving is for men who are seeking a healthy, generative, and supportive movement environment. The program provides technical training and repertory workshops to strengthen the body, challenge the mind, and nourish the spirit through a synergy of modern and African dance techniques. This program is intergenerational for men and boys, fathers and sons.

Men Moving Workshops are a part of Deeply Rooted's Creative Communities pilot program, which awakens citizen artists to their individual and collective creativity. Students have the opportunity to participate in dance classes, acting and vocal workshops, and performances including the annual Story-Bridge large cast-play and Spring Showcase. The curriculum also features The Continuum, a series of guided conversations on self-awareness and personal growth informed by each participant’s creativity and artistic process.
